KEITH HARING (1958-1990) is considered one of the most extraordinary pop artists even though his career was so short-lived. He moved to New York City, from Pennsylvania, where he loved being in the big city. There were big museums with all kinds of art and many other young artists working in his neighborhood. His quick fame began after his drawings were viewed and admired by millions in the subways. After his first solo exhibition, he was not only nationally recognized, but internationally as well. His works can be found on permanent collection in museums and major collections worldwide.
