Sung Sam Park (B. 1949) was born in Seoul Korea and began painting at the age of twelve. His talent and teaching abilities were quickly recognized and by thirteen, Park taught painting at the local high school. In 1973 he graduated from Jung Ang University, then traveled to France where he studied painting. While living Cyprus, Park was commissioned by the President of Cyprus to paint the First Lady's portrait. This and five other paintings are currently displayed in the collection in the Presidential Palace. Park came to the United States in 1994 where he continues to live on the coast of Southern California. In 1998 Soho Editions introduced his first limited edition works.
